The Business & Accounting Students’ Case Competition & Conference (BASC) is dedicated to bringing teams consisting of four students together from various universities from all over Canada to compete in an accounting-based case competition. This event spans over three days and students will have an opportunity to hone their case competition skills, participate in an interactive panel discussion with some of the industry’s leading professionals, take part in company-led workshops, fun social and networking events, and will have a chance to win cash prizes and awards. This year, BASC will take place at the Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suite

For the 4th consecutive year, we have our Internal Accounting Case Competition or IACC on November 5, 2022 for a whole day event!

This is a group case competition that challenges and applies your technical knowledge from accounting courses to a practical case! If you have a team in mind, feel free to drop their names when signing up, or if not, we’re more than happy to pair and match you up!

This is a great opportunity to be able to hone and train your critical thinking skills, teamwork, and overall presentation skills. This also relates directly to the CPA PEP program, so if you want to get a head, sign up!!

There will be cash prizes for the first 3 placed teams, and it is FREE for all who attend!!
